1. About MKGO
MKGO is a technology platform operated by MKTECHSUPPORT (Pty) Ltd. MKGO enables users to request transport and related services from independent drivers and service providers using the MKGO platform.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an MKGO account, accessing the platform, or using MKGO services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and applicable MKGO policies.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity performed through your account.
4. Passenger Accounts
Passengers may request available services through MKGO. A request is subject to driver availability, service area, pricing, safety requirements and operational conditions.
5. Driver Accounts
Creating a driver account does not automatically authorize a person to provide services through MKGO. Drivers must complete the MKGO onboarding and verification process and remain responsible for holding all licences, permits, registrations, insurance and other authorisations required by applicable law.
6. Independent Drivers
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, drivers using MKGO operate independently and are responsible for their vehicles, legal compliance, operating expenses, taxes and other obligations associated with providing their services.
7. Pricing and Fares
MKGO may calculate estimated or final fares using factors including distance, time, service type, applicable fees and pricing rules. An estimate may differ from the final fare where the journey, waiting time, route or other relevant circumstances change.
8. Payments
Available payment methods may include electronic payments, wallet payments, cash or other methods enabled by MKGO. Electronic payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. MKGO does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by the applicable MKGO Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
10. Location Services
MKGO may process location information when necessary to provide services including pickup selection, driver matching, navigation, trip tracking, safety functions and operational support. Location processing is further described in the MKGO Privacy Policy.
11. Safety
Users and drivers must use MKGO lawfully and responsibly. Threats, harassment, violence, fraud, dangerous conduct and misuse of the platform are prohibited. MKGO may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, drivers, the platform or the public.
12. Platform Availability
MKGO aims to provide reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, connectivity problems, third-party services, emergencies and circumstances outside MKGO control may affect availability.
13. Account Restrictions
MKGO may investigate, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts where there is suspected fraud, misuse, material breach of these terms, safety concerns, legal requirements or other legitimate platform-protection reasons.
14. Changes
MKGO may update these Terms from time to time. Where appropriate, users may be required to accept a newer version before continuing to use affected services.
