MKGO Privacy Policy

Learn how MKGO handles personal information, account data, trip information, location data, payment information and other information used to provide the MKGO platform.

1. Introduction

MKGO respects the privacy of passengers, drivers and other users of the platform. This policy explains the categories of information MKGO may process and the purposes for which that information is used.

2. Information We May Collect

Information may include account details, contact information, profile information, trip information, payment references, support communications, device information, security information and location information.

3. Driver Information

Driver onboarding may require identity, licence, professional driving permit, vehicle, operating, banking and other verification information necessary to assess and maintain access to the driver platform.

4. Location Information

Location information may be processed when a driver is online or completing a trip and when a passenger uses location-dependent features. It may be used for pickup selection, matching, navigation, trip tracking, fare calculation, safety, fraud prevention and operational support.

5. Payments

Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers. MKGO may retain transaction references, status information and other information required for reconciliation, refunds, disputes and accounting. MKGO does not intentionally store complete card numbers or card security codes.

6. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to provide MKGO services, administer accounts, process transactions, match passengers and drivers, provide support, improve safety, prevent abuse and fraud, comply with legal obligations and maintain platform operations.

7. Sharing of Information

Information may be shared where necessary with relevant passengers or drivers, payment providers, mapping and infrastructure providers, authorised service providers, professional advisers, regulators or authorities where legally required or otherwise permitted.

8. Security

MKGO uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Retention

Information is retained for periods reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, accounting, dispute handling, legal compliance and legitimate operational requirements.

10. User Requests

Users may contact MKGO regarding applicable requests concerning their personal information. Requests may require identity verification before information is disclosed or changed.

11. Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when MKGO services, technology or legal obligations change. The current published version will remain available through the MKGO platform.
